Belair lies just west of the city centre and had 13,331 residents at the end of 2025, according to the City of Luxembourg — one of the most populated districts of the capital.

Avenue Gaston Diderich is its main shopping street, the route d’Arlon runs along its northern side, and the Parc de Merl lies at its western edge.

With 785 apartments advertised in the twelve months to June 2026, it had more listings than any of the other districts on this site, and the highest asking prices of the five.
